2026年2月に愛知県知多市にある「佐布里緑と花のふれあい公園」に行きました。
佐布里池梅まつりが開催中でした。
・佐布里緑と花のふれあい公園
緑あふれる水源、佐布里池のほとりに広がる自然や景観を活かし、余暇活動や体験の場を提供する公園です。
佐布里池周辺には25種類、約6,000本の梅の木が植わっており、薄紅色の「佐布里梅」、白色の「白加賀」、青みがかった「青軸」などのさまざまな品種の梅をみることができます。
春の梅や桜、初夏には藤、秋には紅葉などの様々な景観が楽しめます。
施設として、土産物販売やカフェを運営する「梅の館」の他、クラフト教室など、毎月様々な体験プログラムを楽しむことができます。
開園時間：午前9時〜午後5時
休園日：毎週月曜日（月曜日が祝日のときは その翌平日）
年末年始（12月28日～1月4日)
入園料：無料
・佐布里池梅まつり 2026
愛知県内一の梅林のある知多市佐布里。
昔は、佐布里一帯に薄ピンク色の花が咲き、多くの観梅客が訪れにぎわいをみせた時代もありましたが、昭和34年の伊勢湾台風でかなりの被害を受け、
さらに愛知用水の佐布里池の建設により水没し、佐布里の梅はごく一部が残るのみとなってしまいました。
その後、地元や県の協力で苗が植えられ、今では25種類、約6,000本にまで増えました。見頃は2月中旬から3月中旬まで。
「佐布里梅」は、桃の台木に接ぎ木して増やしたと言われており、厚い果肉と小さい核が特徴で、梅干しに適しています。
さらに、令和元年10月10日に知多市天然記念物に指定されました。
開催期間：2026年2月14日（土）～3月15日（日）
日没～20時まで毎日ライトアップ

I'd like to introduce some places I happened to visit.
In February 2026, I visited Safuri Green and Flower Park in Chita City, Aichi Prefecture.
The Safuri Pond Plum Festival was taking place there.
・Safuri Green and Flower Park
This park offers a space for leisure activities and experiences, taking advantage of the natural scenery and scenery surrounding the lush water source of Safuri Pond.
Approximately 6,000 plum trees of 25 varieties are planted around Safuri Pond, and you can see a variety of plum varieties, including the pale pink "Safuri Plum," the white "Shirokaga," and the bluish "Aojiku."
Enjoy a variety of scenery, including plums and cherry blossoms in the spring, wisteria in early summer, and autumn leaves in the fall.
In addition to the "Ume no Yakata" (Plum House), which operates a souvenir shop and cafe, the park also offers a variety of monthly programs, including craft classes.

・Saburi Pond Plum Festival 2026
Saburi, Chita City, is home to Aichi Prefecture's largest plum grove.
In the past, pale pink blossoms bloomed throughout the Saburi area, drawing many visitors to the area. However, the area suffered significant damage from the Ise Bay Typhoon in 1959.
Furthermore, the area was submerged by the construction of the Saburi Pond on the Aichi Irrigation Canal, leaving only a small portion of the Saburi plum trees remaining.
Since then, with the cooperation of the local community and the prefecture, seedlings have been planted, and the number of plum trees has now grown to approximately 6,000, representing 25 varieties. The best time to see the plums is from mid-February to mid-March.
The Safuri Plum is said to have been propagated by grafting onto a peach rootstock. Its thick flesh and small pit make it ideal for making umeboshi (pickled plums).
Furthermore, on October 10, 2019, it was designated a Chita City Natural Monument.
