Children are constantly growing, with an open mind to learn new things. Oftentimes, as adults, there can be a temptation to become complacent and stop growing, which can lead to stagnation in all areas of life, including your spiritual life. Part of being childlike, as God instructs, is having the humility and intention to continually grow and take action in the areas where your flesh hasn’t yet been transformed to be more Christlike. The Holy Spirit lives inside you and can help you do anything. As you serve God and take seriously the call to be a disciple, He will transform you more into His image if you make the intention to change and cultivate the fruits of the Spirit. Don’t let who you once were hold you back from who God created you to be. Make the choice every day to grow!
