Tom Ford is making watches. Let's hope they're as good as Ralph Lauren's.

The skinny: Tom Ford has announced that a line of watches will be added to to his collection of luxury goods. We can all agree the temptation to slap his name on a piece of garbage, considering the potential profitability, is enormous. Still, I hope (and naively believe) that the Tom Ford company will go hard and passionate route of bringing truly well built and designed watches to market to preserve the brands value.
