In this session, we have discussed Six Sigma Black belt Professional.


We discussed what are the characteristics of Six Sigma Black Belt Professional and what are their roles and responsibilities within an organization.


Six Sigma Black Belts act as leaders in the quality process. They must understand how a team works and be able to influence, motivate and get along with others. They are strong change advocates who pursue organizational change without upsetting employees.


Black Belts are full-time Six Sigma project team leaders responsible for implementing process improvement projects (DMAIC [Define, Measure, Analyze, Improve, Control] or DFSS [Design for Six Sigma]) within the business. Black Belts are knowledgeable and highly skilled in the use of the Six Sigma methodologies and tools, as well as facilitation and change management, and lead subject matter experts to increase customer satisfaction levels and business productivity.
