Volunteers plant marram grass at P.E.I. beach to help replenish sand dunes

People who flock to P.E.I.'s Lakeside Beach over the summer will often disturb the sand dunes by walking and climbing over them. That's why about 20 volunteers recently visited the popular spot to help the Nature Conservancy of Canada plant marram grass to ensure the dunes' stability.
