Every family should have a pair of radios such as these. Even if you don't use them in day-to-day operations like we do, they are great to have in a bug-out bag or wherever you keep your "rainy-day" equipment!

Even here in the middle of nowhere we get bad cell phone service at times. These are great for us to keep in touch with one another when the cell towers are down or over crowded, (I've seen it happen at major events and holidays).


After using the radios a lot throughout the day, we put them all back on the chargers overnight. With a refreshed charge every morning we have yet to run a battery dead.

These radios are solid and well-made. Don't let the price fool you. I have 4, 5, and 7, year olds running around all over the place with these things... And they are holding up just fine! The children are well-behaved, don't get me wrong, but they are still children!
