🇪🇸 Fui a caminar por Comunidad El Calvario en El Hatillo!! A inicios del siglo XX la Hacienda La Lagunita, una de las más importantes del sector, comenzó a ceder sus terrenos agrícolas para el desarrollo de la urbanización La Lagunita y la Lagunita Country Club. A partir de ello, los trabajadores de la hacienda comenzaron a ubicar sus casas en los terrenos frente al Casco Histórico de El Hatillo, con el fin de estar cerca de las nuevas fuentes de trabajo, conformando así El Calvario, cuyo nombre se deriva de la escarpada topografía en donde está emplazado.Muchas Gracias a todos en el Calvario por abrir las puertas para mostrar su lugar!!

🇺🇸 I went for a walk through the El Calvario Community in El Hatillo!! At the beginning of the 20th century, Hacienda La Lagunita, one of the most important in the sector, began to give up its agricultural land for the development of the La Lagunita urbanization and the Lagunita Country Club. From this, the workers of the hacienda began to locate their houses on the land in front of the Historic Center of El Hatillo, in order to be close to the new sources of work, thus forming El Calvario, whose name is derived from the steep topography where it is located.
