What is Organised and Unorganised Retailing ?

The term retail stands for selling goods from a particular location. In the process of retailing, the job of a retailer is to play the role of facilitator between a manufacturer and a consumer.

The retail sector can further be classified in organized and unorganized retailing on the basis of employment conditions. In the organized retail sector, business is merged with the appropriate government and authority and follows the rules and regulations.

On the other hand, the unorganized sector is incorporated with government authority. Therefore, it does not follow any rules and regulations.
