Christmas Markets should always be joyful places for families and friends to gather, share a special almost sacred moment and make memories for life. This attack reminds us all of our vulnerability and to value life itself and seek to cherish every human life and keep one another as safe as possible.

Join us as we travel by train from Bologna to Ravenna with trenitalia. We find out just how good a base Bologna can be for regional travel and saving money! We then visit Ravenna and discover its beautiful artisanal Christmas markets, gain inspiration from its UNESCO-listed churches and early Christian mosaics and wrap off the visit with a visit to a local restaurant to enjoy a local pasta speciality with meat ragu, some Sangiovese local wine and 'zuppa catalana' for dessert.
