If you’ve been watching FBI Most Wanted on CBS, you know just how hard federal agents work to track down killers. But one of our region’s most brutal alleged killers has never been caught.

Forty-four years ago this month, State Department Foreign Service Officer William Bradford Bishop allegedly murdered his whole family in Bethesda – and disappeared.

There are some in law enforcement who will never give up the hunt – like former backwoods ranger Dwight McCarter.
