🐶 Maltese-Poodle Mix “Maltipoo”
This breed is intelligent, affectionate, and extremely social, and love to cuddle or seek attention from their owners. They are small dogs too, ranging from 5 to 20 pounds, making for great apartment animals, and are also non-shedding and hypoallergenic.
🐶 Maltese Terrier
A fluffy little white dog that is playful and loving towards its owners. The breed is incredibly low-energy, requiring nothing more than a daily walk to satisfy it. They are usually described as loyal, friendly, and relatively low energy. They are a great choice for families, as they strive in that environment, and do extremely well with children, too. The ultimate lap dog, the Shih Tzu has converted many dog owners due to their low-energy nature, especially paired with how incredibly little they shed, usually only losing fur when they are being brushed!
🐶 Brussels Griffon
A tiny, non-shedding dog that you probably saw on TV, and not just because of their looks. The Brussels Griffon breed is extremely trainable and so loyal they will most likely follow you around all day. The breed doesn’t require much exercise at all but will require quite a bit of cuddle and affection. Sounds like a win-win!
🐶 Bichon Frise
Definition of a low-energy lap dog. They are very friendly, easy to train, and can remain independent if you are stuck at work all day and have to leave them at home. The Bichon Frise is hypoallergenic, and doesn’t shed, but will need to be groomed every 6 to 12 weeks because of their dense undercoat.
🐶 Teacup Goldendoodle
The smallest variation of the super-popular breed, oftentimes weighing less than 15 pounds! They are very intelligent, loving, and fun dogs that come in a variety of colors and coats. The doodle is hypoallergenic because of the poodle part of the poodle-golden retriever cross, meaning that some doodles are more hypoallergenic than others.
🐶 Yorkshire Terrier
They weigh less than 15 pounds, are hypoallergenic and non-shedding. The Yorkie is a great companion dog that will lay on your lap all day if you want, and its classic steel blue and tan coat are iconic to many.
