The Superman Celebration in Metropolis, Illinois, honors actress Noel Neill with a statue in her likeness. Miss Neill was the first actress to portray newspaper reporter, Lois Lane, in two "Superman" theatrical movie serials. She later gained even greater popularity when she reprised her role in the popular 1950's television series, "The Adventures of Superman." In this video, Noel Neill, beloved actress and role model, is honored at her statue unveiling ceremony in Metropolis on Friday, June 11, 2010. The event's Superman is perfectly portrayed by Josh Boultinghouse.
