I grew up with the PlayStation 1 under my tv stand and it's one of my favorite retro gaming platforms of all time...so I wanted to do SOME SORT of series on it. But considering it's more fun to talk about the esoteric side of retrogaming I decided to do a ten part series on arcade games that run on PSX hardware; the Capcom ZN-1 and ZN-2, the Namco System 10, Namco System 11 and Namco System 12, the Konami GQ and of course the Taito G-Net.

Things like Tekken, Street Fighter, etc etc...all existed on these kinds of arcade boards AS WELL AS at home on the PlayStation 1 console! Video game history on both sides of the gaming aisle! Also if you like Final Fantasy....Ehrgeiz!

We've got arcade fighting games, beat em ups, shmups, lightgun games, horror games...and even a little Final Fantasy!

Plus some games got ported to PS1, Sega Saturn and even PlayStation 2! So you don't need to drop big dollars to enjoy this piece of video game history! But there are a ton of PlayStation Hidden gems on the G-Net to enjoy!
