What Scorsese's Raging Bull Taught Me About Movies

Martin Scorsese and Robert De Niro teamed up in the late 70's to bring middleweight champion Jake LaMotta's story of jealousy and atonement to the cinema. They had no idea that this film would one day be considered Scorsese's greatest work, as well as De Niro's most powerful performance. And I had no idea how much this movie would effect me when I watched it as a teenager. In a way, Raging Bull is the reason I made this channel.
