1972 Chevrolet C10 | The Original Lifestyle Pickup

Описание к видео 1972 Chevrolet C10 | The Original Lifestyle Pickup

The 2nd Generation of the Chevrolet C/10 pickup trucks built between 1967 and 1972 marked a distinct change in the way that consumers thought about what a truck could be. Where the first-generation of C/10 trucks built from 1960-1966 were pure workhorses that offered little in the way of personal comfort, the 2nd Generation trucks, were tailored for both work and play by offering options that delivered drivers usability as well as comfort.

For the 2nd generation trucks, various model and trim packages were now available along with optional niceties such as a tilt steering column, molded door panels with integrated armrests, carpet and even an AM/FM radio and air conditioning. Their mission was to balance out that work / play lifestyle, and for the first time in American pickup truck history, it was being accomplished. On this episode of TESTED presented by American Collectors Insurance, Mike Musto jumps behind the wheel of a pristine 1972 Chevrolet Custom/10 that’s been owned by the same family since new, to see just how good the Chevrolet C10 really is.
