DIY Fleece Covered Hanging Tube for Chinchillas | Week 1 Cage Accessory #1 of Chinchilla Cage Toys

ESTIMATED TIME TO CREATE: **15 minutes**. Welcome to the 1st cage accessory DIY build. Today we will be creating a comfy fleece covered hanging tube that your chinchillas will absolutely love. This hanging tube provides a snug hideaway, a perch and an engaging play area for your chinchilla. It can also be used for your pet ferret or pet rat!

What You'll Need:
(2) ABS tubing 8" in length
(2) 1/4" carriage bolts
(2) 1/4" x 20 wing nuts
(2) Fender Washers 1/4" diam hole - size to be determined by your cage bar spacing
Approximately 3/4 yard of Anti Pill or Blizzard Fleece
Sewing Machine
Scissors
Drill with 5/16" drill bit
Hacksaw or Bandsaw
