How to Get Started in GRC as a Fresh BBA Graduate

In this session conducted on 1st August 2024, we have Berenice from New York, USA who got insights and guidance to navigate her career as a Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) Professional with a background of Bachelor in Business Administration :)

The main mentor of the day here was Sir Vikalp, Senior Security Engineer (GRC) from Nykaa, India along with Shruti Shovan Das, the Host cum Manager of SwitchtoCyber.

Even though geographically India and US are separated by thousands of miles, but we were united under the umbrella of Cybersecurity, specifically for GRC :)

As she comes from a non-tech background and needs to focus on Cybersecurity with a Business POV in GRC, we tried to address her queries and concerns to help her get better equipped with theoretical, practical, as well as soft skills that both the GRC specialisation and domain of Cybersecurity demand
