KAUTO STAR brings down the house with a fifth King George VI Chase at Kempton in 2011 - Racing TV

Kauto Star produced one of the most memorable performances in the history of jumps racing to win the King George VI Chase at Kempton for a remarkable fifth time.

The 11-year-old, whose powers had appeared to be on the wane when comprehensively beaten in the same race 12 months ago, bounced back to his very best to defeat the reigning champion, Long Run, by a length and a quarter. In victory, Kauto Star was surpassing Desert Orchid as the most successful horse in the history of the race.
