Bassist Valeria Battain about the song: "I am The Hurricane
This song it’s about love and relationships, it’s about lies, it’s about death and fear, it’s about trust. It’s a song about being trapped (within ones own habits or in an unhealthy relationship) and how far a person would go to get out of the situation they are in. The Hurricane is a metaphor, an emotional turmoil, for a large battle or heartship one might have to face. We don’t have to manipulate ourselves around others and change our personalities just to please them."

STARSICK SYSTEM is a new sensation in modern hard rock featuring vocalist and guitarist Marco Sandron (Pathosray, Eden’s Curse, Fairyland, etc), bassist Valeria Battain and lead guitarist David Donati (both known in Syrayde) plus producer, songwriter and drummer Ivan Moni Bidin (Pathosray, Ashent, Garden Wall, Syrayde, etc) in the line-up.

The album “Lies, Hopes & Other Stories” will hit the shelves on June 23rd, 2017 via Pride & Joy Music. Next to 10 original songs, the record also features an outstanding cover of the Chris Cornell song “You Know My Name” (James Bond 007 – Casino Royale soundtrack).
