The game ended in a 10 - 10 tie and, though Notre Dame fecklessly ran out the clock in the end, they ended up winning the National Championship. 40 years later, the same two universities square off, this time with names like Quinn and Ryan, but without the national title on the line. But unlike the game 40 years earlier, this game had more offense so sit back, relax, and enjoy this headknocking battle between two old friends!
