How To Save Audio Recordings To Files App On Google Pixel 8 / 8 Pro

1. Open the Voice Recorder app. Tap on the profile icon. Then from the menu that appears, select Settings.

2. Then select, Recorder Settings. Then tap on the option Back Up & Sync. Make sure that the toggle next to Back Up & Sync is enabled.

3. Then open your favorite browser and search for recorder.google.com

4. Open the recording you wish to save in your Files app. Then tap on the three dots.

5. From the pop up menu that appears, select Download. You'll be asked what file format you want it downloaded in. Choose .m4a. Then tap on Download.

6. Next, open the Files app. and select Downloads. You should see your recordings there.
