Lesson #39 continues the recap of DESeq2 with the data from A549 cells. We repeat PCA, data filtering and plotting of differential expression results (MA and volcano plots). We also retrieve annotation again from Biomart.

Walk through a practical introduction to bioinformatics skills with me while working from home during the Covid-19 pandemic. Aimed at wet-lab types who want to take this unique and strange opportunity to begin learning some bioinformatics.

I am going to begin at the beginning and take it nice and slow. Our first aim will be to develop the skills required to analyse and visualise a (covid-relevant) RNA-Seq dataset.
