How To Make a Heart Shaped Text Effect Tutorial In Adobe Illustrator

This tutorial on how to warp text to a heart shape on Adobe Illistrator is quick, easy and perfect if you want to make a heart shape effect with text design for personal use, stickers, shirts, sweaters, hats, tumblers and more.

Step by Step Instructions:

1. Use Square icon and hold down shift for perfect symmetrical shape.
2. Tilt shape, use curvature tool and hold down shift to create a nice curve.
3. Fill color into your heart.
4. Use knife tool to cut your heart and make a wave design.
5. Add text of your choice.
6. Select all of your text, go to objects, arrange and send to back. This step is very important.*
7. Select font, hold down shift and select heart. Go to objects, envelope distort then make with top object.
8. Bravo! You just designed your own text that is shaped into a heart!

On adobe illustrator, your files can easily be converted into an SVG file which is great for Cricut, Silhouette and other cutting machine users. I personally created this design to make a hoodie and it came out beautiful and I am obsessed with it,
