Although that’s right it’s only partially true.
He spent three years of his life teaching and preaching,
To all the lost souls, that he was reaching.
What, you couldn’t be saved before Christ’s death?
I think you could, you need to reassess,
And take a closer look at the things that he said.
Get one of those Bibles where it’s all marked in red.

What did he say?
What were his ways?
What were the actions that he made?
What did he come to communicate?

We want to believe, ever since Adam and Eve,
All man had to do was to follow the rules,
Til Christ set us free to live in a way that he has no say,
But even today we need to obey.
But the church as an institution is an instrument of pollution.
What we need is real revolution of Truth and not just confusion.
Christ was being literal when he said we need to give it all,
Up, I know it’s visceral, but that doesn’t make it dismissable

What were his ways?
What were the actions that he made?
What did he come to communicate?

A message in a bottle. Full throttle.

I’m pretty sure Jesus said something strong against money.
How we shouldn’t work for it, and how we shouldn’t worry,
About how we’ll be clothed, how we’ll be fed.
1001 concerns rushing through your head.
But the bottom line is the passage of time is a passage created by his design.
Surely he has the power: he knows every inch of our minds.
So do we have the faith to trust him with our lives.
Even if we lose them, he said that’s required.

What were his ways?
What were the actions that he made?
What did he come to communicate?

Don’t use titles. Don’t pray out loud.
Do charity secretly, with no trumpet sound.
Love everyone even murderers and thieves.
Are we any better than them if we ignore their needs.
We need compassion to the highest degree.
We need a lot of help with our fallibility.
We need to give and not expect something back.
We need to live as though God is our dad.
