EP:7 BMW R1250GS/A Adaptive LED Headlight vs Cornering Headlights - Technology Explained

BMW R1250GS Rallye, Adaptive headlights, what are they and how do they work? We also look at cornering headlights and compare the technologies. Adaptive headlights… should you tick this option when you order your new GS?… Absolutely yes.

This is the seventh episode in this new series looking at the R1250GS. I have now decided to purchase the bike from BMW, I was not expecting to do this at the start of the test period, but the GS has proven to be a very capable motorbike.

From this point onwards, the series changes from a long-term test to an owner’s review, and I have plans to make changes and modifications to the GS. I will continue to share, what I think about this amazing motorbike and the incredible BMW 1250 engine.

I will also continue to release several “Tips and Tricks” episodes, for helping you understand how to use the TFT and menu system and how to get the maximum from the different riding modes and settings. I will also cover the Navigator 6 and the BMW connected app.
