Study of CBC and Balanced Draft Gear.

A complete model of CBC with Balanced draft gear has developed at Santragachi coaching depot/S E Railway. This model consists the following features: (1) It is opened from all the sides and all the parts are visible from outside. (2) Regarding CBC and BDG all the types of training can be imparted here without going to the coach. (3) Remedial measures of CBC failure and train parting can also be adopted from this model.(4) The function of the different parts of CBC and BDG can also easily understand from this model. (5) Full seating / partial seating of CBC lock and its securing arrangements explained nicely. Hope it will be useful and helpful for my friends and colleagues of Indian Railways .
