Описание к видео How to Spray Paint Garden Fences Fast | WAGNER

Using a Wagner Fence and Decking sprayer is the quickest and easiest way to paint your fences. Whether you have closeboard fence panels, traditional lap fence panel, wooden or concrete posts, trellis or just lots of fencing you can get the job done fast by spray painting.

Over time the wood can fade so every few years it is important to stain or give your fence a fresh coat of paint to both protect and keep then looking good.

Painting a fence can be time-consuming and difficult with a brush particularly if you have got a lot of fence panels. The job can be completed much quicker and more easily using the WAGNER electric Fence and Decking sprayer.

Preparation is key first trim back any grass, weeds, trees or bushes that are in contact with the fence. This exposes all of the fence’s surfaces.

Cleaning the surface is very important to get a good finish which both looks great and will lasts for years to come. Clean off loose paint, dirt, algae or moss with a wire brush. If the fence has a lot of algae use a proprietary wood cleaner and ideally jet wash the surface.

Repair or replace any damaged portions of the fence panels, posts or caps. Check for loose nails or screws and reseat them. Sand down any rough areas where Ivy for example might have been growing.

After you have thoroughly prepared and cleaned the surface, allow it to dry for 24-48 hours prior to spraying it. This will ensure you get the best possible paint adhesion and coverage which lasts.

When you are ready to spray make sure that you protect all plants by covering them with a dust sheet and put old cardboard on the ground.

If there are any areas of the fence you don’t want to spray either cover or mask them.
Starting by spraying from left to right.

Work methodically across the fence, overlapping each of the sprayed sections by approximately 50% on each pass. Keep the spray gun approximately 20-30 from the surface, and move at a steady pace. This will help you maintain a smooth, even finish and will avoid applying too much paint. For the top of the fence hold a shield on the other side of the fence to prevent any overspray and adjust the nozzle to the detailed setting.
If you produce any runs or drips, simply wipe them off with a heavy rag or thick paper towel before the material dries, and re-spray that section.
Allow the first coat to dry thoroughly according to the paint manufactures recommendations (approx. 2 hours at 20° C).
Then repeat the process and apply the second coat if required. If you originally sprayed from left to right this time spray up and down simply by adjusting the nozzle.
