Voicemeeter Buffer Settings for Reducing Delay (i.e., Latency)

Описание к видео Voicemeeter Buffer Settings for Reducing Delay (i.e., Latency)

Using Voicemeeter Pro in this demo: https://www.vb-audio.com/Voicemeeter/...

This shows how to adjust the buffer settings to reduce latency, or the delay between making a sound and hearing it back through your headsets. In Voicemeeter, the setting of the device assigned to "A1" sets the latency for all the rest of the system outputs, including ASIO. The lower you can safely go, the lower the delay in hearing it back will be across all devices.

It covers the differences between the MME, KS and WDM settings, and how to test between them to find a stable lowest setting -- especially important if you need to mix different kinds of devices.

If you are getting intermittent latency issues, try disabling your WiFi and LAN network cards in the network devices control panel by right-clicking on them and choosing "Disable". Those drivers often are responsible for audio glitches and intermittent increased latency, and disabling them often solves the problem. Re-enable them when you need to use the Internet, of course!
