North Carolina vs. Virginia: The second-ranked Cavaliers set the tone early by scoring 11 seconds into the game in their 14-6 victory in their home opener over the Tar Heels. The win was Virginia's seventh consecutive of the season, and it's their sixth win in a row over North Carolina. UVA had balanced scoring with Conner Schellenberger, McCabe Millon, Jack Boyden, and Noah Chizmar each scoring two goals for the Hoos. Schellenberger added three assists for a team-high five points. Goalkeeper Matthew Nunes had 11 saves. For North Carolina, Logan McGovern scored three goals.
