Messy May Day 20: BOLD process video of mixed media junk journal joy!

Today I went with bold colors, bold lettering and big marks. The end result is very unusual for me and honestly, I’m still on the fence with this one. I can’t tell if I like it or need to keep building.

Friendly reminder that it’s normal to second guess a piece of artwork. It’s why Get Messy Art say there is a “messy middle” when creating these pieces. Mixed media and collage pages can be hard to know when they are complete. At least they are for me. Embrace the chaos and take a step back when this happens. I’m going to come back to this spread at the end, and maybe a few days break will see it in a new perspective.
