This album "A Similitude Of A Dream" is based on on the book Pilgrim’s Progress by John Bunyan which was originally published in 1678. It follows a man weighed down with spiritual guilt, who must leave his home in the City Of Destruction to go to the Celestial City.
It's crazy how a writing that old mean so much to me. I think it means something for every christian who read it.

I listened to the album before I knew it was inspired from that book and yet I thought to myself: "This sounds so familiar to Bunyan's Pilgrim's Progress". I forgot that the book actually started with the narrator defending that the story he is about to tell is framed as a dream.

The book is a must read; the album is a must listen to. It resembles the story quite great.
