Part 2 in a completely transparent look at the recovery after a Deep Necklift in a young (under 40) individual.

⚠️ She is shown only 6 days after surgery, and I show exactly what drain removal looks like. I promise it is no big deal! I left it in a little longer than most because it was still capturing a little fluid.

👉 Notice she still has no bruising and no dressing - this is totally normal, and how 99% of my isolated deep necklifts (without facelift) look. The drain makes this possible.

🔑 If the patient has jowls or significantly loose neck skin (usually ages 40+), I incorporate a deep plane facelift so the jowls are lifted and the loose skin is removed around the ears. These incisions are also basically totally invisible when healed, but the initial social downtime is more like 2-3 weeks.
