Discover the Beauty of Chino Hills: Utility Box Art Program Revealed!

Welcome back to Chino and The Hills Secrets Exposed! I'm Thomas Ryan, your host, and today, let's delve into the stunning transformations happening throughout our beloved city, all thanks to the incredible Utility Box Art Program.

Initiated in 2020 through a collaborative effort between the City of Chino Hills and the Chino Hills Community Foundation, this program aims to breathe new life into our community by showcasing captivating visual art in public spaces. And let me tell you, the results are nothing short of breathtaking!

In our inaugural phase, launched in 2020, we adorned four key locations with mesmerizing artwork:
- Grand Avenue Park entrance
- Peyton Drive and Grand Avenue intersection
- Eucalyptus Avenue and Chino Hills Parkway intersection
- Soquel Canyon Parkway and Butterfield Ranch Road intersection

Since then, we've wrapped 30 utility boxes, with plans to wrap 10 more in 2024 and complete the remaining by 2025. These boxes serve as canvases for local artists to capture the essence of Chino Hills, showcasing our rich culture, history, and natural beauty.

But here's the best part - you can be a part of this too! We're calling on local artists, photographers, and residents to submit their own photos capturing the spirit of our city. While the 2024 submission deadline has passed, keep an eye out for the announcement of our next call for submissions in the fall of 2024.

Just remember a few guidelines:
- You must be a resident of Chino Hills
- Horizontal photos showcasing our landscape are preferred
- High-resolution photos of at least 300 dpi are required
