Christmas train set up in the living room every year. This layout runs to two rooms and is composed of 10 remote switches and 300+ feet of track. All engines are Lionel o-gauge. Takes about a week to set up. There are 4 separate loops of track, intertwined with one another. If you are good with the Lionel Legacy controller, you can run eight trains at once on this layout (two per loop). These trains are not controlled with a transformer, but rather a hand-held remote controller. Each engine has a different ID number and after keying that in, the engine is then operated by the remote.
