‘Butters’ is an attractive, 6 year old, 15.1 hand tall gelding. He got his name because he moves smooth like butter. Butters is solid on the head side with lots of run and rate. He is strong to the horn, reads cattle, and is quite in the box. Butters has been hauled to several Arizona winter jackpots. He has also spent some time on the heel side and breakaway. Butters has many miles outside doing ranch work, checking horse pastures, and going on pack trips. As a 3 and 4 year old he was used to pack into the Bob Marshall and Weminuche wilderness area. Gather, doctor, sort, brand - he’s done all the phases of ranch work. This last summer Butters was ridden by my lesson girls and showed a lot of patience with green riders.
