Samyuktha Vijayan, a transwoman filmmaker, recently appeared on the Nakkheeran Studio YouTube channel for an interview where she discussed her film Neela Nira Sooriyan, which focuses on the lives of transwomen. In addition to talking about the film, Samyuktha also explored other similar portrayals in Tamil cinema. Notably, she both directed and produced the film herself. While she holds a job in the U.S. with an impressive annual salary of Rs. 5 crore, Samyuktha took 20 days of leave to return to India and complete the entire project, showcasing her dedication to the art and cause.
