A walk through the main steps of what it takes to rebuild a rear shock.
This shock came off a 1991 Yamaha Yz125. The procedure is practically the same on all shocks in this era. The majority of Japanese bikes used kayaba shocks up into the early 2000s. This is probably the same shock as on your bike if it is a 90s or early 2000s 2 stroke.
