In addition to putting #AstrillVPN through the ringer, we also read its entire privacy policy, word for word, and what we found was a bit troubling, to say the least. To cut to the chase, they kept our IP address while we were logged on, and for 30 days after the fact, they kept our connection timestamps, device type, and app version, although this data was anonymized. For the privacy-minded, Astrill VPN might not be your best bet. Rather, it’s better for someone who simply wants to torrent files or watch Netflix, available on some of Astrill’s servers.
