MUDA Scam Storm: Karnataka High Court Dismisses Siddaramaiah's Petition | LIVE News | N18L | News18

No fault in Governor’s action of granting permission for investigation independently exercising his power, said Justice M. Nagaprasanna dismissing Chief Minister Siddaramaiah’s petition in the Karnataka High Court.

Facts narrated in the complaints undoubtedly require investigation as benefit is not for outsiders but for family members of Chief Minister Siddaramaiah. Governor’s order granting permission for investigation against Siddaramaiah does not suffer from any application of mind but there is abundant application of mind, Justice Nagaprasanna said.

The Karnataka High Court was pronouncing its verdict on the petition filed by Chief Minister Siddaramaiah challenging the approval given by Governor Thaawarchand Gehlot for an investigation against him in the alleged illegalities committed in the allotment of 14 Mysuru Urban Development Authority (MUDA) sites to his wife in a prime location of Mysuru city.
