About Sifu William Kwok 郭威賢師傅

Sifu William Kwok has been studying martial arts since 1979. He is a recipient of "Community Leadership Award (2015)" by the United States President Council on Fitness, Sports & Nutrition. Sifu Kwok is Practical Wing Chun Kung Fu founder Grandmaster WAN Kam Leung's Closed Door Disciple and also the first Regional Director and official instructor of Wan Kam Leung Practical Wing Chun Kung Fu in America.

In addition, Sifu Kwok is the founder and headmaster of Gotham Martial Arts, a martial arts school that offers Practical Wing Chun and traditional Taekwon-Do in New York City. He is a Harvard graduate and currently pursuing a Doctor of Education degree in Curriculum, Teaching, Learning, and Leadership at Northeastern University. In 2018, he established Martial Arts Education Society (MAES), a non-profit organization devoted to spreading awareness of the martial arts for educating people in discipline, philosophy, history, and culture.
