Just outside Chicago in the suburb of Highland park, Illinois sits an abandoned $5.2M mansion. Once owned by a wealthy Jewish couple that fell into financial trouble. They tried to rent it out on Airbnb for many years. However, that didn’t bring in enough money so they chose to sell it instead. The new owner plans to demolish it and build a new mansion in its place.
