UnitedHealthcare CEO Brian Thompson fatally shot outside Manhattan hotel.The CEO of UnitedHealthcare, Brian Thompson, was fatally shot in the chest on Wednesday (December 4) morning outside the Hilton hotel in Midtown, NY Post reported, citing police sources.

UnitedHealthcare's parent company, UnitedHealth, did not immediately respond to a Reuters request for comment. The company was hosting its investor day on Wednesday.
Live near scene of a shooting which left a 50-year-old man fatally shot outside a hotel in midtown Manhattan, according to police. The shooting happened outside a Hilton that is a short walk from tourist sites such as the Museum of Modern Art and Rockefeller Center. Police say the shooter fled. The victim was taken to a nearby hospital but could not be saved.
