Cred Street, Storybook Land & Old MacDonald's Farm - The Alton Towers Image Bank - Section 6, 7 & 8

I was recently sent various old footage taken at Alton Towers in Staffordshire from someone I know who wanted some of it putting up online for others to see. This is part of that collection.

This video was taken by Alton Towers in 1998, the year Oblivion and X-Sector opened. It was intended to be used for broadcasting companies. Some clips may be recognisable as some sections of the Image Bank have been used at the park in videos shown in the Box Office, Monorail queue videos and more.

Description:

A glimpse of some of the most fun and immersive areas ever built at Alton Towers; this part of the video is all about Cred Street (home of Toyland Tours), Storybook Land (home of Squirrel Nutty and the 'Peter Rabbit on Ice' show) and Old MacDonald's Farmyard (home of the Singing Barn) when they were in their prime! Their attractions really helped to sum-up what "the magic" really was.
