Pathfinder 2e Archetype Review: ALTER EGO

Reviewing the Alter Ego Archetype for Pathfinder 2e and seeing how useful it is for players from a GM perspective.


Be it using normal rules or the Free Archetype variant, archetypes are an important part of Pathfinder 2e. I will be reviewing all the different archetypes that are in the game and going through them not just for their abilities but how useful they could be coming from someone who has been GMing Pathfinder for years now.

This video reviews the Alter Ego archetype. At first I thought this would be more like the Vigilante prestige class from Pathfinder 1e but instead it gives off strong spy vibes. Being able to blend in with other roles may be an amazing trick for certain social heavy campaigns, but could also prove not as effective in others.
