In the vast and arid landscape of Thar, access to clean drinking water remains one of the region’s most critical challenges. Families, especially women and children, are forced to travel miles each day—often barefoot—just to collect a few litres of water from unsafe and contaminated sources. This daily hardship impacts not only their health but their education, livelihood, and overall well-being.
