4️⃣ things to keep in mind in this regard👇🏻:

✅ Wrong practice not in the sense “will lead to disaster”! It’s more in the sense “an incomplete practice”, that’s all! So don’t be in any kind of fear❤️ Utilise this to your own benefit to go deeper in your daily japa anuṣṭhāna 💐

✅ Since ॐ is the primordial sound, it need not be counted as a letter.

✅ So chanting it as oṁ namaḥ śivāya DOES NOT make it a ṣadakṣarī mantra. This confusion is probably because of the well known śiva ṣadakṣarī Stotram. But such Stotram are for the purpose of common understanding (for the sake of beginners). So eventually we need to go beyond such generalisations if we are to understand the true nature/power of these traditional/Veda mantras.

✅ No need to take our word for it! Try chanting “namaḥ śivāya” for a week, and then chant “oṁ namaḥ śivāya” for a week. Observe closely your energy/experience after EACH DAY’S practice & make a note of it. If you are paying enough attention, you’ll see a major difference in both.
