Last few days of July, 1996 and some of the last few Geeps running around Central, IL. 4 railroads: Illinois Central had a GP-10 leading a local, switching grain elevators, and we have a pace scene; Toledo, Peoria and Western had 3 of its famed ex-Santa Fe GP-20s (one Kodachrome, 2 in NYC livery) pulling a freight out of Pekin, IL; Chicago & Northwestern was running a pair of elderly GP-7s in Sterling, IL; and Santa Fe had a GP-7r & GP-20 in a consist racing towards Streator, IL at track speed.
