In this video, I want to do a high speed brain dump about the FileMaker Go product. So first off, FileMaker Go is a completely free app that installs on your iOS device. So on modern iPhones and iPads, you can install this. Now, the cool thing about FileMaker go is that allows you to run both a local custom app or an apt that's running up on FileMaker Server or FileMaker Cloud. Now, because FileMaker Go is free and it can run a local custom app, it's a great place for customers to try it out without any cost or obligation. In fact, if you think about it, FileMaker incorporated only makes money on FileMaker Go when a customer buys FileMaker server or FileMaker Cloud. In fact, that seems to be the evolving model where FileMaker just charges for FileMaker Server. And, of course, by buying five or ten connections for your FileMaker server, you're paying FileMaker for the privilege of connecting to that server with any of the clients.
