The creators of Fringe sensation Fishbowl return to Edinburgh with their latest Molière Award winning production - The Ice Hole: A Cardboard Comedy.  This innovative show, in the spirit of Monty Python and with a Laurel and Hardy style twist, is told by two actors with some side-splitting and meticulous theatrical acrobatics.
Told using a thousand pieces of cardboard, in a language no-one quite understands, a great actor recounts an epic journey from the fjords of Iceland to the dust of the Spanish desert.  He may be cursed by the mermaid he once accidentally caught, but he is aided on his madcap adventure by a fellow performer and, together, they tell this ridiculously amazing adventure.

Frère jumeau du Festival d’Avignon, créé la même année, en 1947, le Festival d’Edimbourg compte deux fois plus de spectacles que l’événement français et est devenu, au fil des années, l'un des marchés artistiques les plus importants au monde qui attire à lui des producteurs et des programmateurs de tous les continents.
Le pleasance nous accueille dans sa salle de 750 places the « Grand », pour 27 représentations non stop !
C’est déjà dans cette salle que nous avions joué BIGRE - sous le tire FISHBOWL - en 2019. Nous y avions connu un immense succès - les 12 dernières dates étaient « sold out » ! Nous tentons donc l’aventure une seconde fois, en espérant que les cartons sauront enthousiasmer le public britannique autant que l’avait fait notre mélo burlesque muet.
