Ninja Kingdom Ise ・ Light show sets Azuchi Castle replica ‘ON FIRE’ in Ise - Mie｜ Night Kingdom 3D

A replica of Azuchi Castle is engulfed in pretend flames during the Night Kingdom event at the Ninja Kingdom Ise theme park in Ise, Mie.

The highlight of the Night Kingdom event is 3-D projection mapping showing a 43-meter-high replica of Azuchi Castle bursting into flames at the end of the show.

The show runs for about five and a half minutes and tells the story beginning with the castle’s construction by feudal warlord Oda Nobunaga and ending with its doomed fate, accompanied by music and narration.

Projection mapping is also offered at six other locations across the park.

For example, a phoenix and a dragon flying in the starry sky are projected on to the ceiling above an escalator, while fireflies, fallen leaves and other seasonal motifs are presented in a garden.
